The Soulbound Credential (SBT)
Proof of talent that survives a screenshot.
A credential shouldn't be a Photoshop-friendly PDF or an unverifiable badge. Every MeritLink credential is an on-chain Soulbound Token (SBT) minted on Base: earned through live execution audited by MeritLink Evidence Fusion™, permanently tied to your identity, and verifiable by any employer in one click.
Samples
This is what one looks like.
Every credential carries the skill, who earned it, how they scored, and how the rubric was weighted for that format. Nothing is averaged away.

The Lifecycle
What it is, how it is born, and how it is used.
A transparent, tamper-proof trail from hands-on code execution to an on-chain Soulbound Token (SBT) you own for life.
Evaluated by MeritLink Evidence Fusion™
You complete a 60-second to 5-minute practical challenge. MeritLink Evidence Fusion™ audits live code execution, reasoning steps, and on-device biometric telemetry in real time. It evaluates correctness, code fluency, and assigns an immutable integrity score.
Sealed as an ERC-721 Soulbound Token (SBT) on Base
Scoring 70+ automatically mints your non-transferable token on the Base blockchain, pinning the evidence report to decentralized storage. You don't need a crypto wallet, Web3 extension, or gas fees: sign in with Google or email, and account abstraction manages the keys invisibly.
1-Click Proof on CVs, LinkedIn, and ATS Platforms
Your verified credential yields a permanent URL (/u/handle) and QR code. Add it to your job applications to skip repetitive take-home exams. Hiring teams verify your technical mastery and integrity in one click through our API or directly on BaseScan.
Zero crypto friction for candidates and employers
Account abstraction creates your secure Base key behind the scenes when you sign in with Google or Email. No browser extensions, seed phrases, or gas fees required.
Why it cannot be faked
Five things stand between this and a forged certificate.
A PDF can be edited in a browser. A LinkedIn badge can be added by anyone. This is built so that none of the usual shortcuts work.
- 1
It cannot be transferred
The token contract blocks every transfer after minting. It cannot be sold, gifted, bought or moved to another wallet. A credential is welded to the person who earned it, so a market in fake credentials has nothing to trade.
- 2
It cannot be edited
The record lives on a public blockchain, replicated across independent nodes. Nobody can go back and raise a score — not the holder, not an employer, not MeritLink. Correcting a credential means publishing a revocation in the open, where the history stays visible.
- 3
The evidence is fingerprinted
The full report is pinned to decentralised storage and its cryptographic hash is written on-chain. Change one byte of the evidence and the hash stops matching. Tampering is not just prohibited, it is detectable by anyone.
- 4
It was earned under observation
A camera check before the challenge starts confirms a real person, not a photograph or a replayed video, and that it is the same person who sat the earlier ones. It runs before the credit is spent, and the video is not recorded.
- 5
Integrity travels with the score
Every credential publishes its own integrity index next to the technical result. A session with anomalies carries that on its face permanently. There is no clean-looking badge hiding a messy session.
What is inside
Everything a reader needs, and nothing they should not have.
The on-chain record is deliberately narrow. It proves the result without publishing the person.

Never written to the ledger
- Your name
- Your email address

- Anything an employer did not need
Your blockchain address is pseudonymous, not anonymous. You choose what to attach to it publicly.
What it does
Earn it once. Use it for the rest of your career.
Verifies in one call
Anyone can check a credential from its link, or through the API, without contacting you and without waiting on a reference.
Travels with you
One profile link works on a CV, a portfolio, a LinkedIn profile or an email signature. No re-test for every application.
Never expires, always dated
The record is permanent — nothing turns red and nothing is taken away. It carries the date it was earned so a reader can judge how current it is, and when you want fresher proof you take a new challenge and get a new credential. The old one stays as the record of what you proved back then.
You decide what is public
Certify what you like, publish what you like. Credentials you keep private stay off your public profile.
For talent
Stop proving the same thing to every company.
- One challenge replaces the take-home you have already done four times this month.
- Your work speaks before a recruiter forms an impression from a thirty-minute call.
- The integrity index is your evidence that you did it yourself — worth more than any claim on a CV.
- It costs a credit, takes minutes, and belongs to you afterwards. No subscription, no wallet, no gas.
For companies
Read the result instead of running the test.
- A verified credential answers the question your first screening call exists to answer — before anyone books it.
- Scores are comparable across candidates because the rubric and the conditions were identical.
- The integrity index tells you how the result was obtained, not just what it was.
- You cannot be handed a forged one, because there is nothing to forge and nothing to transfer.
Verification
Three steps, no phone calls.
- 01
Open the link
Every credential has a public verification page showing the skill, the scores, the format and the date.
- 02
Check it against the chain
The page reads the record straight from the blockchain. You are not trusting our word for it — you are reading the ledger.
- 03
Compare the hash
The evidence hash on-chain must match the stored report. If it does not, the credential has been tampered with and you will see it.
A credential is only worth what it cannot hide.
This one publishes its own integrity, refuses to be transferred, and cannot be quietly corrected later. That is the whole point.
